Addressing these problems early can prevent bigger electrical failures and reduce safety risks.
A microwave that runs but does not heat may have a failed magnetron, high-voltage diode, capacitor, door switch, fuse, or control board issue. Proper diagnosis is important because several different components can cause similar symptoms.
Blown fuses are often caused by failing door switches, high-voltage components, wiring problems, or electrical shorts inside the appliance. Replacing the fuse alone rarely solves the underlying issue.
Sparking can be caused by damaged waveguide covers, food debris, metal objects, paint damage inside the cavity, or failing high-voltage components. Stop using the microwave until the cause is identified.
Yes. Our technicians repair over-the-range microwaves, built-in microwave systems, microwave drawers, and countertop models from most major manufacturers.
We service Whirlpool, KitchenAid, GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire, Bosch, Thermador, JennAir, Sharp, Viking, Dacor, Miele, Wolf, and many other major microwave brands.
Loose doors, broken latches, and worn door switches are among the most common microwave repairs. Continuing to force the door closed can lead to additional damage and higher repair costs.
One of the most common issues we encounter is failed door switch assemblies. Frequently opening the microwave door while it is still running can create electrical arcing inside the switches, causing them to stick, fail, or blow fuses.
In many cases, yes. Built-in and over-the-range microwaves are often worth repairing because replacement and installation costs can be significantly higher than the repair itself.
When scheduling permits, we offer same-day and next-day microwave repair service throughout The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Montgomery, Magnolia, Tomball, Cypress, and surrounding North Houston communities.

I've got a messed-up Samsung wall oven/stove that was leaking gas when I wanted to bake something, it's got other things that are missing but I solely wanted to pay for a fixed oven, as the rest of it is still usable despite it's state of disrepair, so I made an appointment with these people. The technician came the day after, sometime between 12 - 3 PM carrying a robust toolkit. He quickly got to work diagnosing my oven after I explained the issue, worked quickly through gunked up / bad screws, and found the issue within 20 minutes of arrival. He charged $290, but the replacement part by itself was $200 MSRP, so it was $90 of labor and efficiency after that. He already came with all the parts required to make the repair, and even replaced the bad screws with correctly-sized, shiny new ones. He went on to give me links to the missing burner knobs for the stove-top and advised I cleaned parts of the burner to see if it fixed the ones that wouldn't light without a match. I put a %10 tip because I have enough capital and it was job well-done.Posted on Google![]()
